Hi Everyone,
I would like to say happy Tuesday... so I will... Happy Tuesday.
I just gave Julie a CBD gummy... they really do work well for her, but her pain is increasing, so we started her on Tylenol with codeine Saturday. Speaking of Saturday, my 3 sisters and 2 of my brother-in-laws came for a visit (sorry you couldn't be here Lance). It was a good visit, Julie actually came outside for a bit. She is really struggling and is so weak. I keep trying to feed her and she is eating a little bit. Thanks to Uncle Marc for lunch and thanks sister Julie for all the gluten free goodies! Julie talked to my 3 sisters and told them her pain was getting worse. I'm glad I asked for a prescription for the Tylenol, it does help relieve Julie's pain. I'm only giving her 2 to 3 a day right now and will up them as needed.
Yesterday was a video visit with Palliative care and today is an in-home visit with Hospice. So we just keep plugging along and do the best we can.
This week we are getting ready for our son Jake's hernia surgery on Friday. Our daughter Leah and Danny are coming from Florida on Saturday. Cousin Georgia and Uncle Scott and daughter Amy are on standby for any extra help I need with Jake and Julie on Friday. Friday is also grandparents day at Claire and Aubrey's school... I'm going to try to go. We'll see what happens.
More THANK YOUs... Thank you Beth for the goodies, Rachael for the flowers, Uncle Scott for the banana bread, family, friends, neighbors, everyone for the love and support that you have given me and Julie. I know everyone is asking me what can we do ??? and I know everyone is heart broken and hurting... Please keep praying and keep the faith. We are also encouraging people to donate blood. If you're not able, encourage someone else to. Julie has had many blood transfusions during this journey and we wouldn't have made it this far without that and the wonderful people that donate their blood.
God is going to do what God wants to do! Amen!
Love to all,
Joe and Julie
