Hi All,

The first thing I want to say is "this sucks"! Not just for me but for our family, friends, neighbors and everyone we have the chance to meet that have touched our lives. But Julie is at peace! Her suffering is over and now we have to move on. With that being said, I would like to invite everyone to Julie's last party.

Yes that's right! A party, a celebration of life, unfortunately it will be held at a funeral home,

Cress Funeral in McFarland (5801 Hwy 51 McFarland, Wisconsin 53558). It's not far from our house and across the street from one our favorite Mexican restaurants, who will be catering our Fajita bar.

The party will be Saturday October 19th starting at Noon till 5pm. Beach attire is encouraged, Guys no ties, Girls no fancy dresses unless they are sun dresses, flip flops and crocs welcome. Our granddaughters Claire and Aubrey are setting up a beach theme party. We all know how much Julie loved the beach. We're planning for the Fajita bar to be open from 2 - 5pm and it will be self-serve.

Flowers are not necessary but if you wish to do so, we recommend Stoughton Floral in the next town South of us.

UW Badger football is away at Northwestern that day so hotels should be accessible for anyone that needs to stay the night.

I have said in a previous post when asked "what can we do?" do what you can, say a prayer, comfort each other, tell some one that you love them, or donate blood. One thing I could use help with in the future is... I would like Julie's ashes spread on your favorite beach... so if you have a favorite beach that you think Julie could rest in paradise at, please let me know.

Love to all,

Joe
