Hi Everyone, Happy Saturday!
Julie and I just spent the week in St. Pete's Beach with my family. We had some really nice weather and the last day was rain. That was ok because we went to Sarasota to meet up with my mom's cousin Kenny. We had a great dinner and a lot of fun. Thanks to Jack, Mary and Claudia for another great week at the Palm Crest. Its always good to see some friends we haven't seen in a while, and hope to see them all again next year. Last night we headed to Venice where we are going to stay for awhile. We are supposed to have a little wind and rain today and then it should clear up.
As for Julie, she's doing good... Her quote this morning was "you know how thankful I am to be here."
She got in the pool this past week and did some water walking. She said her balance is off a little bit, I think it's because she is still weak. I'm still trying to help her put some weight on but not to quickly. Her itching is chilled out and her appetite is good! Overall she is doing good.
We are still doing the Antineoplastons every day. She is hooked up through her central line for 20 hours a day and the automatic pump is programmed to administer them properly. You would never know that she is connected to it if you saw her walking down the street. It's pretty cool the technology that can keep this process mobile and discrete so she can continue to do daily activities and live a pretty normal life. We will probably be doing this for awhile.
And me, well as long as Julie is doing good, I'm doing good! I could use more exercise and less food, maybe I'll work on that next week!
