Happy 4th of July - Special Edition

Hi All,

Happy 4th of July... for real this time. Today we are very grateful to live in this FREE country... even though most days we don't feel like we have freedom... because we are dealing with the medical and insurance industry and it's a MESS!!!

The last 2 days have been really good. One of the reasons that they have been good is because we have received our 3rd and 4th opinions on Julie's scans. Yes, that's correct... 3rd and 4th opinions! The one thing we have learned through this process is the world's best doctor is YOU! Yourself... no one else. You need to trust yourself, know your body, trust your heart and go with your gut instincts... not the "doctors". It's ok to say no to a doctor and it's ok to fire a doctor. Yes, you pay them, if you are not on the same page, fire them, and try a new one. We have done that a lot and are finally getting some good help... but not without a fight.

Over 10 years ago, we started to question the medical system. I struggled with migraines and food allergies and nothing was working. So I changed my diet, went gluten free and started researching... turns out allergies, inflammation, immune system, stress and more can be improved by taking care of your nervous system and your microbiome. Six years ago I was introduced to the mental wellness company, Amare Global and the health benefits that we have seen from using their products have changed our lives. If Julie hadn't primed her immune system like she has been doing for the last 10 years she would be in a much different place... maybe not even here. It also gave me something to work on in "retirement", many don't know but last year I was certified as a Mental Wellness Coach and have been helping people with their nutrition and wellness goals. Amare supplements are just one piece to the plan we live by and coach people on... we have amp'd it up even more during the last 6 months to be able to fight Julie's tumor without Chemo.

It's working!!!! And we truly believe it's because of everything we are doing... and the doctors in the standard medical system are so unhappy that our alternative plan is working that they are telling us that Julie's cancer is getting worse. However, 3 other private clinics that are not associated with standard care are confirming that Julie's tumor has shrank 35% and the cancer surrounding it is likely gone.

After hearing that, we believe Julie's biggest challenge is her anemia and fluid build up. We think if we can get those under control things will improve even more! We're not saying all doctors are bad, there is a time and place for them, and their prescription's, procedures, etc. But we are saying that we don't do whatever they tell us. We get multiple opinions and try to make our decisions based on facts, not fear... and that is VERY hard to do because we have had many doctors go straight to worst case scenario and try to scare us. That's where the rollercoaster comes into play! You have to stay strong and like I said before, trust your gut. But in order to trust your gut, you should have good gut health to match it.

If anyone wants to talk about what we are doing with my and Julie's health, please reach out. We can talk about diet and exercise, meditation, vitamins and supplements, I am an Amare Global representative and we always have sales going on.... There's a really good one today actually ;) We can also talk about CBD, acupuncture and just getting enough sleep. Everyone has helped Julie and I so much these past 6 months and we want to pay it forward.

Love to all,

Joe and Julie Ski

P.s. Thank you Cindy and Jeff for the lovely flower arrangement!

Hi All, It's been another long week, although it really did just fly by! The week (Father's day) started off kind of quiet. I did get to spoil me and Julie a little bit by cooking a steak on the grill
